This is a customer focused position in which you will own Supply Chain performance for the business and customer brands. You will lead the supply chain partnerships with the major multiples and convenience customers and be accountable for the total supply chain service including product, data handling, cost to serve terms, supply chain productivity projects between the business and the customers.

Your key objective will be to deliver through your team number one status for service within the business category with specific focus on the delivery of strong customer relationships, improved order fill and delivery timelines and enhancing the capability to deliver within agreed cost structures.

You will have a proven track record of customer supply management at a senior level preferably within retail or manufacturing and demonstrable people leadership skills. You will be able to show an ability to lead a function particularly with regard to setting a vision, engagement, driving performance and managing change.

We are also looking for a strong customer focus and the ability to demonstrate proactive relationship building. Clearly for such a key role, we do want a strategic thinker who is results focused who has a strong appreciation of the financial implication of their actions.

As for sector experience, we are looking for cross functional experience in Supply Chain, e.g.: Manufacturing, Warehouse Ops, Stock, Planning from within the FMCG or retail sector. It would be beneficial if you had a Postgraduate Supply Chain Qualification as well.
