Based South London, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Manchester, Staffordshire, Hereford and North Devon
This is a different position for you to think about. You will be managing an operational contract at our client's site. Reporting to the Site Director you will be responsible for profit improvement, customer service, Labour utilisation, Quality and H&S. Managing a large team, you will be focused on the delivery of all operational standards set out in the Client's Service Level Agreement.
You will support the Site Director co-ordinating all activities that ensure the required standard of service is achieved and making sure the team is capable of growth, whilst maintaining strict budgetary controls.
You will work with clients proactively, ensuring their expectations are exceeded, and effectively communicate all client needs and business opportunities within the division. It will be your responsibility to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are monitored, measured and managed.
Clearly it is essential you have strong management skills, an appreciation of excellent operating standards and commercial acumen to be able to deal your on sight customers.
These are profit focused positions so you must be highly capable with dealing with the numbers and understand them sufficiently to make the necessary changes to deliver the budgets.
We want to secure individuals with strong business management experience at a senior level that have operated in a multi-disciplined environment. We require experience of managing an overall budget with diverse functional components and have recent and relevant team management and development experience with a proven record of leading, managing and developing a management team
Even if it has not been a core part of your operational role, we are looking for the aptitude to recognise and develop new business opportunities.
We also want experience of and a track record in successfully managing budgets of this size
It is equally important that we see a positive attitude to self development, willingness to learn in role and identify own training needs as appropriate
