Site Engineering Manager position. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be focused on the delivery of engineering best practice. With a clear agenda to drive the automation programme where appropriate and ensure best value for capital expenditure.

You will provide leadership and focus for the Engineering Department who have a clear objective of delivering an effective maintenance and repair strategy for the operation. This covers plant, equipment, machinery and services on site to guarantee production needs are met in the most efficient manner.

You will manage all engineering budgets and work with Technical/ NPD and Engineering Project Teams to instigate cost effective business solutions.

You will be the sites engineering specialist so you will make recommendations on Capital and R&R projects to deliver improvements and cost savings.

To be an eligible candidate you will have operated at a similar level and have strong knowledge of Fmcg environments, chilled food experience would be an advantage but is not essential, what is key is that we source an individual who knows what good looks like and can communicate and deliver that through a team.
