This is a great opportunity to join one of the country's top retailers and support the retail and supply chain food safety operation. If you are either a graduate with a microbiology/related degree or are a food professional with experience of auditing the supply chain - or both! - then this role will give you the opportunity to ensure that all safety considerations have been addressed and documented prior to new/existing products being approved. You will implement, manage and effectively control audits of high risk suppliers and microbiological projects to establish the microbial safety and quality of food products. An excellent understanding of HACCP is required and, ideally, a track record of auditing in high risk food environments. Whilst UK and some overseas travel is required, the focus is very much on desk led documentation compliance.
