Our client has a blue chip reputation with multiple sites, within a fast paced food manufacturing environment.  They have embarked on a First Line Manager (FLM) development programme and have defined a new benchmark for FLMs.   

We are looking for a progressive First Line Manager who has significantly more potential to be promoted within the Division –“the Site Manager of the future”.

Candidates must demonstrate a positive trajectory in their career path and be seen as on the way up.  In summary, this opportunity is to raise the standard of FLM's within the Division, drive best practice, deliver operational improvements / OEE / Cost Reduction and deliver strong motivational leadership to the team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

·          Business acumen

·          Manufacturing experience e.g. SIC, Lean techniques

·          High standard management

·          Retailer/BRC audit knowledge

·          Leadership and Coaching skills

You will have experience of managing small highly skilled shift teams, in terms of people development and production optimisation.  The ideal candidate will be analytical with good numerical skills and the ability to lead and motivate teams.  Ideally you will be a Manufacturing and Engineering Graduate who has completed your first role within food manufacturing.
