Looking for an opportunity to lead and manage the QA team and drive quality assurance across the factory? Our client is a leading supplier of short shelf life chilled food products to the major UK retailers. This role, reporting in to the Technical Manager, will give you responsibility for setting standards and providing specialist technical support to all functions.

You will need to demonstrate a track record of implementing and reviewing quality systems associated with food production to ensure food quality and legal requirements are achieved. Therefore, HACCP and BRC experience are essential along with good IT skills.

Ideally, you will have a bakery or dairy background and have the skills to deal with products being produced from scratch. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to motivate and manage your team to its best ability as well as influencing colleagues across departments. You will be a sound multi-tasker, conscientious, a proven negotiator and a soft leader with a high level of integrity.
