They have an exciting opportunity for a Food Development Manager to join one of their specialist teams. Reporting to the Development Team Leader, this position will be based at their development centre, however there is scope for mobile/home working as much of your time will be spent across the sector ensuring great food and service remain at the heart of what they do.

In this NPD role, you will be developing and implementing a food strategy for your consumers. Delivering cost effective, profitable food solutions to the business maximising gross profit. You will work closely with the diet and nutrition teams to match required standards. You will own the menu database, and be responsible for the monitoring and analysis of all food margins. You will liaise with suppliers and the buying team to keep ahead of current food trends and with marketing colleagues to ensure that appropriate offers are developed for the sector.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for great food and excellent service delivery. We want to see demonstrable knowledge of food trends and service styles and a track record of developing and delivering excellent new products.

Experience in multiple retail food sectors that are very much consumer driven would be great, but previous experience within healthcare would be beneficial. We will be looking for the ability to develop cost effective and profitable food solutions to the sector and the ability to match and deliver projects in an accurate and timely manner. We will examine your commercial skills and want to see an influential and confident manager who is able to influence at all levels across the business.
