Their innovative approach and focus on new product development is key to their business strategy, enabling them to branch out into new product areas, driving their expansion plans.

The new position of Materials Buyer has arisen as a result of that growth. Reporting into the Finance Director, and working closely with both NPD and Production teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for;

-Negotiating prices and conditions
-Arranging and monitoring contractual agreements
-Participate in national and international sourcing projects
-Entering successful and cost effective relationships with suppliers
-Procuring a wide variety of chilled and ambient FMCG components and raw materials

You must demonstrate previous purchasing experience (preferably CIPS certificated) within the chilled manufacturing environment; have a proven track record of negotiating and the ability to manage in a fast moving and changing environment.

You will be a team player, with excellent interpersonal skills, technically adept and able to deliver robust results driven strategies.
