As Plant Manager for Mead Johnson, you are responsible for identifying, further developing and implementing strategy, projects and business planning, that generate positive business results for manufacturing operations, location Nijmegen (The Netherlands).

Position

• Responsible for identifying, further developing and implementing strategy, projects and business planning, that generate positive business results for manufacturing operations
• Improving and implementing manufacturing processes and technology that foster high quality, cost efficiency, costumer service and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Managing directly the Supervisors of Production, Maintenance, Planning, EHS and indirectly more than 180 employees
• Aligning with European and Global stakeholders for understanding implementation for global standards and best practices
• Developing leaders and engaging employees to build a high performing operating culture through effective coaching, holding others accountable for the expected results
• Realising, reviewing and communicating the targeted Operations KPI’s
• Providing visible leadership and striving to be a role model to improve employee safety and GMP compliance
• Member of the Nijmegen Supply Chain Leadership Team  and Reporting to the Supply Chain Director

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or technological direction
• Senior work experience and successful, at least three years experience in managing a multidisciplinary team in an operations environment
• Proven leadership in change processes and good knowledge of continuous improvement tools like Lean, Six sigma or TPM
• Financial planning and budgeting experience
• Used to work with high quality and food safety standards
• Strong leader with confidence in communications on all levels within a multinational matrix organisation
• Ambition and capability for further career growth
• Candidates need to be fluent in Dutch
• Personal skills: high performance drive, flexible, strategic view, direct communication, decisive and result driven
