As Planning Manager for Danone, you are responsible for managing an optimal planning performance of the supply chain of fresh dairy products from the European Danone factories to customers, location Utrecht (The Netherlands).

In order to support further growth of Danone Netherlands, we are currently searching for an eager Planning Manager.
Position
- Responsible for managing an optimal planning performance of the supply chain of fresh dairy products from the European Danone factories to customers
- Managing and coaching three planners to ensure efficiency and optimal communication with factories and commercial disciplines
- Optimizing the forecast process together with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and the factories, with a strong focus on the medium and long term planning
- Analyzing and reporting the key performance indicators in relation to supply chain management and initiating proposals for improvement
- Working closely together with Marketing and Sales to translate running business and promotions timely into accurate forecasts
- Coaching Planners in their participation in Acceleration Teams, multidisciplinary teams per brand responsible for the growth strategy of the Danone brands
- Reporting to the Supply Chain Director
Profile
- BSc/MSc degree in business science or economics with a logistic specialization
- About 5 years work experience in an industrial supply chain environment and relevant experience with planning/forecasting
- Affinity with FMCG and products with limited shelf life is an advantage
- Ambition and potential to grow in an international company
- Knowledge of SAP APO is desirable but not a must
- Strong communication skills in English and preferably good knowledge of French and German
- Personal skills: analytic, leadership, coaching skills, pro active, enthusiastic and business sense.
