As Manager Technical Services Europe for Cargill, you are responsible for managing and coaching a team of 7 Technical Service Specialists, located in both Mouscroun and Deventer, location Mouscroun (Belgium).

Position
· Managing and coaching a team of 7 Technical Service Specialists, located in both Mouscroun and Deventer
· Translating the BU strategy into concrete action plans and priorities for each of the Technical Service Specialists
· Pursuing cross training between the chocolate and compound team
· Visiting strategic customers and prioritising customer/sales requests and projects
· Introducing measurable targets for the team
· Ensuring sales and clients receive appropriate product development and technological support related to chocolate/compound applications
· Following market trends, developments and competition information and when possible anticipate
· Working closely together with colleagues from a.o. central R&D Platforms, Sales, QA and Production, reporting to the R&D Director Chocolate and Compound
Profile
· Academic level with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science/Technology, Chemistry or equivalent
· Several years of proven experience in a relevant management/leadership role in the food sector, preferably in confectionery, dairy or bakery or similar
· Knowledge of chocolate/compounds is a plus but not strictly necessary
· Good understanding and actual knowledge of customer requirements
· Strong communication skills in Dutch, English and preferably in German and/or French
· Personal skills: born organiser, clear leader and coach, decisive, vision on technical services
