Food Safety Expert
For in-depth food safety knowledge to R&D and manufacturing sites - Oud-Beijerland

Position
- Responsible for ensuring food safety at the four European Mars sites of the Food business and within the Food R&D departments
- Contributing to the implementation of innovation projects, as representative of the Quality & Food Safety team
- Delivering food safety expertise during incident/crisis management, to support HACCP implementation and for continuous improvements
- Delivering basic level food safety competency to the European Food sites
- Participating in and leading various internal and external quality projects, in order to improve the overall quality
- Building and maintaining a range of internal and external networks and recognition to ensure up-to-date understanding of expertise
- Member of the QA team and reporting to the Quality and Food Safety Manager Food Group

Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science or Technology, with specialisation in Food Safety
- Relevant work experience, preferably within a QA or R&D environment
- Strong quality mindset and good knowledge about HACCP and microbiological risk assessment
- Challenged by working in a professional, dynamic and international organisation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
