You will be accountable for the management of brand security and due diligence relationship with raw material suppliers, third party manufacturers and C-packers to the business unit, in line the global supplier management process.

You will Promote and progress a consistent and sustainable strategy with all suppliers, interfacing with Science & Technology, procurement, manufacturing and marketing functions:

You will ensure
· Ensure that all suppliers are assessed through the approval process and are fit to supply
· Deliver confidence in the suppliers maintenance of this status through appropriate supplier certification and ongoing risk assessment
· Ensure the supplier fully understands and complies with relevant policies
· Implement and evaluate supplier performance measures to drive continuous improvement
· Support other regions on supplier issues and management of the global process

To apply you will need

a) Demonstrable experience in QA, auditing and QA systems, within the food industry.
b) Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in food related discipline
c) Intermediate HACCP diploma, with strong understanding of HACCP and microbiology
d) Advanced Food Hygiene qualification and lead assessor trained
e) Strong interpersonal and motivation skills with credible approach
f) Willingness to travel
g) Tough minded and business focussed
h) Enthusiastic, prepared to challenge the operational norms
i) Sound judgement and willingness to take decisions in line with best for business needs
